DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

And yet (coincidentally?) LHO just happened to write a note to Marina on the very same day that General Walker was shot at (or very near that same time), with the note suggesting that Lee was about to do something very illegal that might just land him in jail or in the cemetery.

Just a big ol' coincidence, was it? (Yeah, right.)

JOHN SIMKIN SAID THIS.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

In My Opinion.....

Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin in Dallas, Texas, on 11/22/63. The physical evidence, as well as most of the circumstantial evidence, that is currently in the official record indicates that Oswald was most certainly the murderer of President Kennedy.

And when virtually ALL of the physical evidence in a criminal case leans one way and supports one single conclusion, reaching an opposite conclusion (as many conspiracy theorists have done with respect to the evidence in the JFK case) -- i.e., that Oswald is totally innocent of the two murders he was charged with in 1963 (both JFK's and police officer J.D. Tippit's as well) -- defies all logic and reasoned thinking.

Like most things in life, the John Kennedy murder case can be reduced (in most areas within it) to common sense and the hard, documented physical evidence, and we all know where the latter leads -- right straight into the two guns of one Lee Harvey Oswald (his Mannlicher-Carcano rifle plus his revolver, the latter which was used to kill Officer Tippit).

Many more details about why I think Lee Oswald was the lone gunman can be found at the links below:

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

I pretty much agree with all of the Warren Commission, yes. And that's because....

The evidence in the JFK and J.D. Tippit cases clearly indicates that the Commission was correct in all of their major findings....e.g.:

....Lee Harvey Oswald shot and killed JFK.

....LHO shot and killed Officer Tippit.

....LHO took a shot at General Walker in April '63.

....LHO definitely owned Carcano Rifle No. C2766.

....The Single-Bullet Theory is most certainly a correct conclusion.

....LHO was not involved in any conspiracy.

....Jack Ruby was not part of any kind of conspiracy when he shot Oswald. (The timing of Ruby's actions and movements on 11/24/63 pretty much eliminates the idea that Ruby went downtown on Sunday morning in order to "rub out" Oswald.)

GREG DOUDNA SAID THIS.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

It's possible that Oswald did have some extra rifle bullets and some cleaning supplies, but he deliberately disposed of those articles leading up to Nov. 22nd (so that those things would not be found by the police among his stored possessions). Obviously, I can't prove any such thing happened. But it's a possibility that cannot be totally disproven either. It's one of those "We'll Never Know For Sure" situations.

I only wish the trash cans at Ruth Paine's house had been thoroughly searched right after the assassination. (As far as I know, such a "trash" search was not done by the police.)

Such a search might have turned up multiple relevant items, including (perhaps) a few bits and pieces of discarded brown wrapping paper that Oswald was trimming down to just the right size when he constructed his homemade paper gun sack in Ruth Paine's garage.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

I'll remind you, John, of the fact that the HSCA, fourteen years after the Warren Commission, also concluded that Lee Oswald killed JFK. And that same HSCA also endorsed the Single-Bullet Theory. Do you think the following words from Page 43 of the HSCA's Final Report were written merely as part of a continuing 14-year-long cover-up? ....

"The forensic pathology panel concluded that President Kennedy was struck by two, and only two, bullets, each of which entered from the rear. The panel further concluded that the President was struck by one bullet that entered in the upper right of the back and exited from the front of the throat, and one bullet that entered in the right rear of the head near the cowlick area and exited from the right side of the head, toward the front. .... There is no medical evidence that the President was struck by a bullet entering the front of the head, and the possibility that a bullet could have struck the President and yet left no evidence is extremely remote."

---------------

And why should I even begin to think that these HSCA conclusions shown below (from Page 1 of their Final Report) are just a pack of lies? (I skipped the part about the acoustics in the image I captured below, because we all know that those findings were faulty and were completely discredited in 1982 by the NAS.)....
