JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 484)

COMMENTS ABOUT THE RADIO DEBATE BETWEEN JOHN McADAMS AND TOM ROSSLEY ON WHPR-RADIO (HIGHLAND PARK, MICHIGAN) ON APRIL 5, 2009 (EMBEDDED ABOVE):

First off -- great job! Both of you. It was cordial, but still hard-hitting in many spots from both participants. It was really a pleasure to listen to. I enjoyed the whole thing.

And kudos to the host, Anton Batey, who I think did a very good job of moderating and asking some good questions that covered a wide variety of areas. And additional kudos to Anton for also riding the fence very nicely too. He certainly did not show any bias whatsoever toward one side or the other. Excellent job.

RANDOM OBSERVATIONS:

The biggest oversight on Professor McAdams' part, IMO, was when the "back and to the left" topic cropped up a couple of times during the debate, with Prof. McAdams not once mentioning the initial FORWARD movement of President Kennedy's head on the Zapruder Film at the critical moment of impact when Oswald's bullet was crashing into the back of JFK's head.

I think that John McAdams would agree that any discussion about the movements of JFK's head during the key head-shot frames of the Zapruder Film should certainly include some remarks about the very important forward movement of the President's head at the critical IMPACT point.

Tom Rossley, who is a conspiracy-loving kook of the very first order, came up with a brand-new crackpot idea regarding Governor John Connally's wounds that I don't think I have ever heard any other conspiracy theorist dish up in the past -- and that's when Tom stated during the WHPR radio debate that Governor Connally had NOT been shot in the back by a bullet at all....but, instead, had been shot in the CHEST from the FRONT by a bullet. And this bullet evidently exited the UPPER BACK of John B. Connally.

Now that's a hot (new) one on me!

Maybe Tom has proposed that nutsville theory here at these Internet forums in the past, but I sure don't recall reading it.

Tom bases his "Connally Was Shot In The Chest" nuttiness on the initial news reports (and some statements by Connally's doctor that Rossley has totally misinterpreted, as per the kook's norm) that said that Connally had, indeed, been shot "in the chest".

But even a first-grader should be able to figure this one out -- it's obvious that the initial "shot in the chest" reports (which were stated on national TV, no doubt about that) were erroneous and were, in large part being based on the area of Connally's body where some witnesses observed the most blood pouring out of the Governor--which was, of course, in his chest.

This "in the chest" nonsense is very similar in nature to the erroneous early reports (like Bill Newman's) which stated that JFK had been shot "in the temple".

Since the temple area at the RIGHT-FRONT of Kennedy's head (the EXIT point for Lee Harvey Oswald's bullet) was the place where witnesses, naturally, saw all of the blood on the President, they incorrectly asserted that Kennedy had been shot IN the "temple" area.

But, quite obvious, Newman nor anyone else in Dealey Plaza could have possibly seen the exact ENTRY HOLE on Kennedy's head to make a conclusive determination about where precisely the point of entry was located on JFK's head.

Back to Connally's "chest" for a moment longer -- It appears then, per Mr. Rossley, that apparently the gunman who fired that bullet into Connally's chest from the front must have been lying on the floorboards of the limousine (seeing as how such a bullet would have been moving UPWARD through Governor Connally's body, per Rossley's impossible theory).

Maybe Brian David Andersen (author of the JFK fantasy book "My God, I'm Hit!") was right after all. Maybe there WAS a secret compartment somewhere in the President's limousine where a midget shooter could hide himself and from where he could have popped up and fired some bullets at Connally and JFK on November 22nd.

And Rossley thinks that Connally's chest wound was SMALLER than his back wound. More fantasy from Conspiracist Tom, I see.

Of course, as we all know, Dr. Shaw (one of Connally's surgeons at Parkland Hospital) appeared on live television within hours of the shooting on 11/22/63 and told the world that Connally had very likely been struck by only "one" bullet, with that bullet positively coming from behind Governor Connally, with the back wound being undeniably a wound of ENTRY, not exit.

For Rossley to go on the radio and actually make the absurd claim that John Connally's chest wound was a wound of ENTRY is beyond ridiculous (given the mountains of evidence indicating just exactly the opposite) -- it's insane.

So, it would seem, Rossley's got Kennedy AND Connally being shot from the front -- a sort of Single-Bullet Theory in reverse -- although Rossley thinks they were hit by separate FRONTAL bullets. And Rossley also has Connally being hit by TWO bullets, which means his anti-SBT theory has to account for FOUR disappearing bullets, in order to replace the SBT's one single bullet.

Like always, a conspiracy kook has everything 100% backwards.

Another new one that I had never once heard before was when Tom Rossley said that there's evidence of some kind to indicate that Dan Rather of CBS News was in Jack Ruby's Carousel Club on Thursday, November 21st (the night before the assassination), and that Rather saw Lee Oswald together with Ruby that night.

Well, just as I thought, Mr. Rossley has misrepresented the crux and meat of this misunderstanding regarding Dan Rather. It took me just a couple of minutes to clear up this matter in my own mind, via taking a look at Warren Commission Exhibit #2983, which can be seen HERE.

As we can easily see in CE2983, it was a simple mix-up regarding WHO it was who claimed to have seen Oswald in the Carousel Club. That Commission exhibit clears it up nicely, with the end result being that Dan Rather never claimed to have seen Oswald at the Carousel Club at all. Instead, it was Bill DeMar (an entertainer who occasionally worked for Ruby at the Carousel) who said he might very well have seen Oswald in the audience one night at some time prior to the assassination.

Also -- CE2983 mentions nothing about the exact DATE when DeMar supposedly saw Oswald there, which means Rossley is stretching the truth once again when Tom said that Rather supposedly saw LHO at Ruby's club on 11/21/63.

In addition, CE2983 says absolutely nothing about DeMar (or Rather) having seen Oswald TOGETHER WITH RUBY at any time prior to November 22nd. That exhibit only mentions a potential Oswald sighting, but nothing about Oswald and Ruby being seen TOGETHER at any point in time.

And in Dan Rather's televised interview with Bill DeMar on November 24, 1963, DeMar doesn't mention a thing about Oswald being WITH RUBY when DeMar supposedly saw LHO in the Carousel. In fact, DeMar says exactly the opposite when asked about it by Dan Rather, indicating that Oswald was positively NOT with Ruby in the club.

DeMar merely said that he thought Oswald was "in the audience" during one of DeMar's performances at the Carousel at some point prior to November 22nd.

So, once again, Rossley is stretching the facts to the breaking point to meet his pro-conspiracy requirements. As always.

Another great "Rossley Moment Of Hilarity" during the radio debate was when Tom R. declared that the negative paraffin test result on Lee Harvey Oswald's cheek meant (conclusively!) that Oswald positively did not fire a rifle on November 22, 1963.

Rossley, naturally, totally discounts two critical facts regarding paraffin tests when he declares Oswald to be completely innocent of assassinating JFK based on just the negative paraffin result to LHO's cheek, to wit:

Tom, even though he says otherwise, disregards the fact that paraffin tests are wholly unreliable (as testified to by multiple law enforcement officials after the assassination).

As McAdams explained to Rossley during the radio debate, the main reason that police departments even use the paraffin test at all is mainly for intimidation purposes (at least in circa 1963 at any rate). The police hope they can trick a suspect (although I think Mr. McAdams used the wrong word in the debate when he said "witness" instead of "suspect") into a confession through the use of such a test (and, similarly, with the use of the lie detector test as well).

Plus, as Mr. Rossley should know full well, the FBI did tests with Oswald's Mannlicher-Carcano rifle after the assassination, with an FBI agent being given a paraffin test very shortly after firing multiple shots from CE139 (Oswald's very own rifle), with that test resulting in a "negative" reading for nitrates on BOTH the agent's hands and CHEEK.

Therefore, via such a test conducted by the FBI, we KNOW that a FALSE NEGATIVE is possible. And yet Mr. Rossley has the gall to declare that Oswald never fired a rifle on 11/22/63 based solely on the results of the paraffin test.

And here's another lulu from the lips of Thomas Rossley ---

Tom suggested to the radio audience that Oswald couldn't possibly have used his Italian military Carcano rifle to murder John F. Kennedy in November of 1963 because he had no bullets available to put into his Carcano in November of 1963 (alluding to the silly factoid about how the manufacturing of MC ammunition had been discontinued years prior to 1963)!

How about that, folks?

Of course, to a reasonable person looking into JFK's assassination, it becomes rather obvious that since Oswald purchased his Mannlicher-Carcano rifle from a mail-order firm in Chicago, Illinois, in March of 1963 (Klein's Sporting Goods Co.)....it stands to reason that Klein's Sporting Goods Company was probably not selling rifles to customers if NO AMMUNITION FOR THOSE RIFLES WAS READILY AVAILABLE!

I guess Rossley wants to believe that Klein's was advertising (and selling) WW2 Army surplus Carcano rifles to the public -- but nobody could ever hope to use those rifles because no ammo could be purchased to put into those guns.

But (again) to a reasonable person, a different truth emerges -- i.e., Klein's was selling people Mannlicher-Carcanos via mail-order, so it's quite obvious that ammunition for those Carcanos was certainly available to purchase.

In fact, in the very same magazine ad that Oswald used to purchase his rifle [pictured below], Klein's also offered the ammunition for that rifle (108 rounds for $7.50):

Oswald decided not to spend the extra $7.50 for the bullets when he ordered his rifle and scope from Klein's in March of '63, but it's fairly obvious that Carcano bullets WERE being made available to customers by Klein's in 1963.

Oswald must have purchased his bullets someplace other than Klein's; but if Klein's had the ammo available in 1963, it stands to reason that other places had the bullets for sale as well.

Rossley no doubt disagrees. But such is the way with conspiracy-happy theorists. They'll grasp for any crazy straw they can latch onto, all the while throwing ordinary common sense out the window in the process.

Debate Winner -- Professor John McAdams (naturally).

JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 1048)

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

A few random comments about the above JFK assassination radio debate between John McAdams and Tom Rossley on March 13, 2010....

RE: JOHN CONNALLY'S CHEST....

Tom Rossley is unique (in a way), because there's not another conspiracy theorist alive (that I'm aware of) who actually believes Governor Connally was shot in the chest from the FRONT.

And there's also not another conspiracy theorist alive (to my knowledge) who thinks that Connally's chest wound was a very small "round" wound.

The following quotes can easily be found in the Warren Commission testimony of one of Connally's Parkland physicians, Dr. Robert R. Shaw:

"A large sucking wound in the front of his right chest." -- Dr. Robert Shaw

"We knew this [an area below the right nipple on the body] was the wound exit...by the fact of its size, the ragged edges of the wound." -- Dr. Robert Shaw

RE: ROBERT FRAZIER....

As John McAdams said, Tom Rossley has completely misinterpreted some of the testimony of FBI firearms expert Robert A. Frazier (with respect to the topic of "tumbling" bullets).

Rossley wants the unsuspecting listener to believe that when Bob Frazier of the FBI said that there was "no evidence at all of tumbling or yaw" [3 H 438] of the many test bullets fired from Lee Harvey Oswald's Mannlicher-Carcano rifle (CE139), this comment by Frazier is supposed to prove (per Rossley) that a Carcano bullet could not and would not tumble or yaw AFTER THE BULLET HAD STRUCK AN INTERVENING OBJECT IN ITS PATH.

But that, quite obviously, is not at all what Bob Frazier meant when he said what he said on page 438 of Warren Commission volume 3. Frazier was talking about the stability of a Mannlicher-Carcano bullet in flight BEFORE it reaches its target.

Frazier certainly wasn't suggesting in his testimony that a Carcano bullet would NEVER tumble or yaw AFTER it had struck an object. And Tom Rossley is just silly if he believes that IS what Frazier meant in that testimony.

RE: JOSEPH MILTEER....

Another very good point brought up by Professor McAdams was the point he made regarding Joseph Milteer.

As McAdams pointed out (which is something I had never really thought about from this particular point-of-view before), the shooting scenario that Milteer speculated about to William Somersett in 1963 was certainly a LONE-ASSASSIN PLOT.

I.E., what Milteer was talking about certainly wasn't a MULTI-GUN plot, and therefore, according to virtually all conspiracy theorists, it's the kind of shooting scenario that DID NOT OCCUR in Dallas on November 22.

Plus, as Mr. McAdams also rightly pointed out to Mr. Rossley, Milteer was most definitely talking about an assassination attempt that was supposedly going to be made in FLORIDA, not in TEXAS. That fact is very clear when listening to Milteer's recorded words.

http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/milteer.htm

FINAL DEBATE RESULTS:

John McAdams, quite naturally, very easily won the debate on March 13, 2010. And that's not too surprising, since Mr. McAdams has ALL of the evidence on his "Oswald Did It Alone" side, while Mr. Rossley is left looking mighty desperate by not only having to speculate about things that nobody else on Planet Earth believes (such as John Connally being shot in the chest from the FRONT), but by also being forced to misrepresent testimony to suit his conspiratorial purposes (such as the blatant way Rossley distorted the "tumbling" testimony of FBI agent Robert Frazier).

All in all, it was a predictable 90 minutes worth of debating, with the lone-assassin advocate using the facts and evidence in conjunction with a whole lot of common sense and logic, while the conspiracy theorist continues to believe in stupid stuff (including the intolerable theories of one Douglas P. Horne). A typical day at the office for a JFK conspiracist.

JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 489)

ANTON BATEY SAID:

Here is the entire, uncut debate between Professor John McAdams and Mr. Tom Rossley on April 5th, 2009. As you'll probably notice, nothing significant was edited out of the 2-hour debate that was posted, but nevertheless, there it is.

GIL JESUS SAID:

Let's see, an "uncut" version where nothing "significant" was edited out. And I always thought that an uncut version meant NOTHING was edited out.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

I see that Gil Jesus needs to be talked through something else that he has managed to completely mangle and misinterpret.....

When radio host Anton Batey used the word "significant" above, he was talking about how nothing that he deemed "significant" was cut out of the shorter TWO-HOUR version of the 4/5/09 McAdams/Rossley radio debate that Anton previously posted on his YouTube channel.

Anton was saying when you compare the shorter YouTube version to the uncut MP3 version, you'll find that nothing "significant" was trimmed by Anton for the shorter version. (And I agree, there wasn't; I listened to the whole uncut version last night.)

Maybe Gil needs new reading glasses (or new comprehension glasses...one or the other).

A FEW MORE "DEBATE" NOTES:

There were two additional good-sized "LOL" moments that occurred within the uncut WHPR radio debate that Mr. Batey was nice enough to provide:

1.) One of the LOL moments was when Tom Rossley exclaimed to the Internet world that he believes that "Doorway Man" IS, indeed, guess who? ---- Yep, ol' Tom thinks it was his favorite patsy, Lee H. Oswald.

Despite Billy Lovelady's sworn testimony in front of the Warren Commission in April 1964 (just five months after the assassination), Rossley still thinks that the group of brainless morons known as "The Patsy-Framing Team" just simply allowed their one and only patsy to wander around without keeping him on a leash during the shooting, with LHO then free to be photographed in the doorway by James Altgens.

And we must also remember, too, that these so-called before-the-shooting "patsy framers", per the stupid things that Rossley believes, had been attempting to "set up" Patsy Oswald for many, many months prior to November 22, since Rossley believes in ALL of the other crackpot theories about Oswald being framed WELL IN ADVANCE of November 22 too -- such as the "fake backyard photos" nonsense, to name just one.

In short -- anyone still believing the "Oswald Was In The Doorway" myth in 2009 must have several loose screws upstairs.

2.) This one might have actually been in the truncated version of the debate (I can't really recall)...but, anyway, Professor McAdams brought up an excellent point about Rossley's willy-nilly, all-over-the-map beliefs when it comes to certain things relating to the JFK case, to wit:

McAdams got in a good laugh as he illustrated for the radio audience how Rossley seems to want to believe that President Kennedy's upper-back wound was a wound of EXIT (which is a belief that is, in and of itself, hilarious), but at the same time Rossley ALSO likes to prop up the testimony of Secret Service Agent Glen A. Bennett, who had stated in his 11/23/63 report that he thought JFK was hit IN THE BACK (i.e., from THE REAR, of course) "about four inches down from the right shoulder" (quote from Bennett).

Therefore, Rossley seems to want to believe that Kennedy's upper-back wound was BOTH an entry wound AND an exit wound at the same time.

I wish John McAdams had pressed Rossley harder on this contradiction of beliefs that Tom seems to possess, but after a brief chuckle, McAdams moved on to something else. But I enjoyed the jab that John was able to get in there.

JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 693)

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Here's a bit of a bombshell, coming from a September 7, 2009, newspaper story from "The Dallas Morning News":

Per the DMN article, a man who lived near Ruth Paine's home in Irving, Texas, actually says he saw Lee Harvey Oswald "fiddling with something" while Oswald was in the Paine garage on the night of November 21, 1963.

This is certainly the first time I've ever heard of a witness like this. The man's name is Autry Lewis and he had moved into a house near Ruth Paine's home on Fifth Street a few months before JFK's assassination.

I, however, think a very large grain of salt should be placed beside Mr. Lewis' story about seeing Lee Oswald in the Paine garage on the night before the assassination. And the DMN article goes on to suggest that Lewis actually saw Oswald take a brown paper package out of the Paine garage on Friday morning, 11/22/63 as well. Another large grain of salt is needed there too. But it certainly is interesting nonetheless.

Quoting from the DMN article (which appears on Dale Myers' blog, linked here):

"Autry Lewis stood in front of his Irving home on a November morning waiting for a ride. The man who sometimes stayed at Ruth Paine's house across the street was waiting for his ride, too. Lewis didn't see what the man grabbed from Paine's garage before he hopped into a friend's car that Friday morning. But Lewis learned from television broadcasts hours later that the man's name was Lee Harvey Oswald.

[...]

Lewis said he sat at his dining room table that night [11/21/63] and looked out his home's front windows. He said he could see Oswald fiddling with something in the Paine house garage. But he couldn't see what exactly.

"Had I had a pair of binoculars ..." Lewis said. And when Oswald grabbed something wrapped in shipping paper from the garage the next morning, Lewis didn't think much of it. Until later that day."

TOM ROSSLEY SAID:

WOW WOW WOW

Some "Voyeur" comes forward 45 years later to tell us that Oswald jumped into Frazier's car in front of the Paine garage ! ! !

That one Equals the SBT ! ! ! !

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

The kook named Rossley can't even get this right.

Per Rossley, apparently the biggest "bombshell" element to Autry Lewis' almost-certainly-fabricated story is the part which has Oswald getting into Buell Frazier's car on the morning of 11/22.

I guess the other part about Lewis saying he saw Oswald in the Paine garage "fiddling with something" on 11/21/63 isn't big news at all, per Kook Tom R.

TOM ROSSLEY SAID:

KOOK-SUCKERS like David "Swallow Everything" ! ! !

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Yeah, Tom, that must be why I said in my last post that Autry Lewis' story is "almost certainly fabricated".

Try reading before posting sometime, Tom. Couldn't hurt.

TOM ROSSLEY SAID:

You originally saw fit to post his Bullshit ! ! !

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

So?

GIL JESUS SAID:

So how can you expect people to take you seriously when you're posting BS and admitting that you KNEW it was BS when you posted it.

There's a difference between making a mistake and knowingly making a misrepresentation.

You mean to tell us that the authorities NEGLECTED to question any of the NEIGHBORS of the Paine's about Oswald's activities on 11/22/63, and as a result, this guy comes forward 46 YEARS LATER?

Aren't you people the ones who "pooh-pooh" witnesses who "appear" years later?

What a crock.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Of course I knew it was almost certainly a bullshit lie from a guy who crawled out of the woodwork 46 years later. But it's a JFK-related story that I found interesting nonetheless (despite the lies that are told by Autry Lewis in it).

But you're one to talk about posting "BS", Gil. You perform that function on a daily basis, while ignoring the fact that all of the physical evidence in two 11/22/63 murders points to a guy you think was a patsy. Now THAT'S "BS", Mr. Pot-Kettle.

GIL JESUS SAID:

It's amazing how these nut-based morons keep coming up with these "surprise" witnesses that were there all the time and never interviewed by the authorities.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Yeah, kinda like Gordon Arnold and Beverly Oliver, huh?

JOHN CORBETT SAID:

My understanding is that Oswald walked to Frazier's house a half a block away rather than being picked up by Frazier at the Paine residence.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

He did. For the first time ever, LHO walked all the way down to Wes Frazier's house (a half-block). Usually, Frazier met Oswald halfway, while Oz was on the sidewalk between the two houses.

It sounds to me like that DMN article was a combination of things -- e.g., it has a guy (Mr. Lewis) telling a good-sized lie or two (no question about that), coupled with the article's author wording the story in such a way to make it seem like Lewis saw some things he obviously couldn't possibly have seen (such as the thing you just mentioned--Oswald waiting for his ride in front of the Paine house).

That's a very strange Dallas Morning News article (the more I think about it).

ANTHONY MARSH SAID:

Just the type of convenient and unreliable story that conspiracy believers dredge up many years later to support their wacky theories. Seems you'll believe anything if it supports YOUR theory.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Yeah, right, Tony. That must be why I said the following (nine hours before you posted the message I'm responding to now):

"Per [Thomas] Rossley, apparently the biggest "bombshell" element to Autry Lewis' almost-certainly-fabricated story is the part which has Oswald getting into Buell Frazier's car on the morning of 11/22." -- DVP

JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 487)

TOM ROSSLEY SAID:

The [Warren] Commission specifically asked the FBI to get the videotape [of Dan Rather's supposed statement about seeing Oswald at the Carousel Club, via KRLD-Radio in Dallas].

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

So what?

CE2983 provides ample proof that Dan Rather NEVER, EVER was in the Carousel Club at any time.

You obviously think Dan Rather is a liar, right Tom?

(Silly question, of course Tom thinks Rather is a liar.)

But let's look at this from a "common sense" perspective, okay? (Are you up for that, Tom?)

Let's say (for the sake of argument) that Dan Rather of CBS News really HAD been in the Carousel Club prior to 11/22/63 and he really DID see Lee Oswald in that nightclub.

Now, fast forward to 11/24/63 --- Dan Rather, who is heavily involved in the Dallas coverage for CBS-TV that November weekend in 1963, would have had a golden opportunity to reveal to the WORLD (via live television) that he, HIMSELF, had actually SEEN Lee Harvey Oswald a few days before JFK's assassination in the VERY SAME CLUB OWNED BY OSWALD'S MURDERER!

But does Dan Rather reveal this bombshell on nationwide TV on 11/24/63 (or at anytime thereafter)?

No. Instead, Dan Rather interviews nightclub comedian Bill DeMar on CBS-TV on the afternoon or early evening of Sunday, November 24th, 1963 [see the video below], and it's DeMar who tells the world that it was he (DeMar) who had supposedly seen Oswald in the Carousel about "8 or 9 days" prior to 11/24/63. (DeMar also said "last week" when he was asked by Rather when exactly DeMar had seen Oswald at the club.)

Also -- Via the above Rather/DeMar interview on 11/24/63, Dan Rather obviously has NO IDEA WHATSOEVER what kind of club the Carousel is....hence, Rather asks DeMar questions like, "What kind of club is it?" and "Is it a rough place?"

Now, if Dan Rather HIMSELF had been inside the Carousel Club at some point in time shortly prior to Kennedy's assassination, why would he need to even ASK such questions of somebody else? He would have known what kind of club it was HIMSELF.

Of course, I'm sure that Tom Rossley (and other conspiracists equally as unhinged as Tom) want to believe that Mr. Rather was merely keeping quiet about being at Jack Ruby's Carousel Club prior to the assassination (and seeing Oswald there). Right, Tom?

Dan Rather really KNEW what kind of club the Carousel was, right? And he really had seen Lee Oswald there on 11/21/63 (even though we know that Oswald couldn't even have been there that night, because he drove out to Irving with Buell Frazier to spend that night with Marina and his kids [and to get his rifle, of course]). Right, Tom?

But Rather was, in a way, lying his ass off by KEEPING QUIET about these things on November 24, 1963, when he interviewed Bill DeMar. Right, Tom?

Dan Rather, with a golden opportunity (per Kook Rossley) to toot his own horn (so to speak), and to gain even more attention than he already had gained as of 11/24/63, decides to CLAM UP entirely about having physically SEEN Lee Harvey Oswald at Jack Ruby's nightclub prior to the assassination of the President.

Tell me I'm right about those things, Tom. I always enjoy watching a kook hang himself with his own stupid beliefs.

JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 490)

JOHN BLUBAUGH SAID:

I have listened to this all very closely and it is clear to me that Rossley backed up just about everything he said with evidence and quoted page and verse of his references.

McAdams seems to have done the debate off the top of his head with nothing to back up his statements. The debate about parafin [sic] tests is a good example. I do not think McAdams was ready for someone as well prepared as Rossley was.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Oh, brother. Those blinders are very thick today, aren't they?

Let's take just a quick (off-the-top-of-my-head) inventory of some of Tom Rossley's debate points:

Rossley magically turned EVERY single verified ENTRY wound into an EXIT wound, and every verified EXIT wound into an ENTRY wound (by waving his hand and saying it was so)....and yet you think that Rossley "backed up just about everything he said with evidence"??

And Rossley performed this "wound magic" with respect to BOTH victims too -- including CONNALLY! Rossley actually said he thinks that Connally's huge, gaping chest wound was a wound of ENTRANCE!

And yet certain people actually think that Rossley won that radio debate, even though he spouted unbelievable fairy-tale beliefs like THAT?!

Come on! You must be dreaming!

Plus:

Rossley thinks it was Oswald in the doorway.

Rossley thinks all the autopsy photos are fakes.

Rossley thinks the backyard photos are fakes.

Rossley thinks numerous people lied like cheap rugs (for decades on end).

Rossley thinks Jack Ruby was "FORCED" to kill Lee Oswald BECAUSE OF SOMETHING THAT DAN RATHER SUPPOSEDLY SAID!

And yet ROSSLEY won that debate, huh?

(There must be a full moon this evening.)

JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 309)

TOM ROSSLEY SAID:

>>> "Warren Commission Apologist Dr. John Lattimer states in his book "Kennedy & Lincoln" that his Manlicher-Carcano [sic] has the EXACT SAME serial number as CE-139." <<<

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

This crap has been discussed before here, and has been reasonably explained. But Tom The Kook, two years later, thinks that everybody's forgotten. [Let's look at the past posts on this topic....]

==============================

>>> "John Lattimer OWNED the M-C Rifle with serial number 2766." <<<

Nowhere on that page [of Dr. Lattimer's book] does Lattimer claim he owned the SAME CE139 rifle. He mentions the serial number "C2766". But that is obviously an error, however, because the WC determined there were NOT two MC rifles with that same serial number. But the other comments made by Lattimer on that same page indicate he's obviously NOT talking about the SAME weapon as Oswald's MC (CE139).

Naturally, a kook overlooks all the other remarks (like "exactly as on the rifle from the same lot, WC Exhibit 139...") that clearly indicate Lattimer's rifle was NOT the exact same rifle as CE139.

Plus -- Only an outright idiot/kook could possibly think that Lattimer ACTUALLY meant that he (Lattimer) owned the SAME rifle as CE139, which resides in the National Archives.

But, then again, a conspiracy kook will believe anything I guess. (As long as it can lead to something that smells fishy.)

David Von Pein
August 18, 2006

==============================

...Only a "total fool" could believe, after reading ALL of Dr. Lattimer's book "Kennedy And Lincoln", that Lattimer was in possession of Oswald's exact Carcano rifle.

There are several references in the book that indicate Lattimer was utilizing the same MODEL of Carcano (91-38), but not the exact same gun.

The "C2766" reference in Lattimer's book is quite obviously an innocent error, because there were not two rifles in existence with that exact same serial number (as the WC said in its report, which, naturally, is info that a kook named Tom [Rossley] will totally disregard out of hand).

Lattimer, in fact, acquired FOUR different Carcano rifles for his experiments in the 1960s and 1970s....and ended up using one of those rifles more often than the rest of them. (I'm not entirely clear on how many times, if any, he utilized the other three Carcanos he obtained during his vast number of tests and re-creations he conducted. But it's quite obvious from the totality of text in his book that Lattimer was not using Oswald's rifle at any time.)

David Von Pein
November 18, 2006

==============================

>>> "Lattimer destroys himself with the bullshit in his book." <<<

I love the kook mindset regarding Dr. Lattimer....

It would seem that the mere fact that Lattimer misspoke re using "C2766", Oswald's exact rifle (CE139), completely negates EVERY SINGLE THING that Lattimer did concerning his JFK experiments in a certain kook's mind.

Just because JKL misspoke about "C2766", NOTHING he ever does again is to ever be trusted or believed by a nut named Rossley. Amazing short-sidedness.

And Lattimer's mention of C2766 was obviously an innocent error. Why? Because he proves it was merely an innocent error in the very same book ("Kennedy And Lincoln"). This is proven by way of several other mentions of the rifle he used in his tests NOT being the same rifle as CE139! That's brought out multiple times in that same publication. I guess Tom doesn't realize that, huh?

Or Tommy just ignores those additional rifle references because Lattimer said, ONE time, that he used "C2766", which, btw, was during a passage regarding the rifle's other detailed "specs" too -- e.g., "MC; Model 91-38; Italian; 6.5mm; bolt-action; etc.". Lattimer obviously put in the specs for LHO's weapon without realizing the exact serial number was being mentioned too.

But it's obvious from other mentions that Lattimer did not mean he was shooting with Oswald's exact gun, CE139.

But, let's just assume for the sake of kooky argument that Lattimer WAS using CE139, LHO's C2766 rifle. What real difference would THAT fact have made ANYWAY?!

Would using Oswald's exact weapon have suddenly CHANGED any of the WC-favoring experiments that Dr. Lattimer performed with said weapon (or any other similar MC weapon)?

So, as can be seen, Tom-Kook is arguing just for the sake of arguing (about nothing, really).

Because REGARDLESS OF EXACT CARCANO BEING USED -- Lattimer's tests WERE conducted WITH A CARCANO RIFLE, and ALL of those tests favored the "single-assassin-firing-from-the-rear" scenario. Period.

So, get a new "Lattimer Line", Mr. Rossley. The stupid one you're using now is just too flimsy to hold an ounce of H20.

==============================

>>> "[Dr. John K. Lattimer] states that he owns a Manlicher-Carcano [sic] rifle model 91-30 [sic] with Serial Number 2766 [sic]." <<<

As I said before, Lattimer's "C2766" remark was obviously an error....because (as I shall provide below) Lattimer tells us MULTIPLE times elsewhere in his book "Kennedy And Lincoln" that he was NOT using Oswald's exact rifle. Heck, even the very page cited by Tom R. (Page 250) contains info that contradicts Tom's "C2766" claims.....

"...Exactly like Oswald's. This [scope] was mounted exactly as on the rifle from the same lot (Warren Commission Exhibit 139) that was demonstrated unequivocally by the Warren Commission to have been used to fire both of the bullets..." -- John K. Lattimer; Page 250 of "Kennedy And Lincoln" (c.1980)

The overall language used on the VERY PAGE TOM R. SAYS PROVES LATTIMER IS A LIAR shows a reasonable person that Mr. Lattimer was merely in error regarding his one "C2766" remark.

And when coupled with the following FOUR additional rifle references scattered throughout Lattimer's K&L publication, it's quite clear that Lattimer wasn't using Oswald's exact rifle.....

"I used a 6.5mm Mannlicher-Carcano carbine of the same model as that used by Oswald (model 91-38)..." -- JKL; Page 232

"I had examined Oswald's rifle at the National Archives..." -- JKL; Page 292

"We had procured four rifles of exactly the same type used by Oswald. .... We then selected, from our four sample rifles, the one that most closely resembled his [Oswald's], in both condition and ease of operation, for use in our firing tests." -- JKL; Page 295

"Although we had to be content with four rifles of the same model as used by Oswald, the FBI used his actual rifle, and always with the same results: none of the bullets ever tumbled [unless they struck something else prior to striking a simulated Connally target]." -- JKL; Pages 271 & 276

Tom R.,

What do you have to say about the above-referenced passages from Dr. Lattimer concerning the rifle that you claim that Lattimer claimed was Oswald's exact C2766 weapon?

Based on those additional quotes from "Kennedy And Lincoln", do you honestly still think Lattimer was insisting he was using "C2766" for his experiments?

BTW, Tom (incorrectly) said "model 91-30" above, when referring to the MC rifle. I think this error gives me the right (per Tom's own rules) to call Tom a "liar" and a scheming "cover-up agent", seeing as how he said "91-30" instead of the correct model number of "91-38".

Right? Right.

JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 493)

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

There must be a full moon. The conspiracy loons are out in force.

I don't suppose the CT-Kooks have even the slightest desire to bash the total nonsense that was being spouted by "one of their own"--Thomas Rossley--during the 4/5/09 radio debate...right?

Such nonsense as the following (and this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the hilarious and retarded stuff that Rossley regurgitated endlessly for 3-and-a-half hours on WHPR-Radio on 4/5/09):

1.) When Rossley said that he actually thinks John Connally's chest wound was a wound of ENTRY instead of exit.

2.) When Rossley said that Jack Ruby was "forced" to kill Lee Oswald because of something that was supposedly said by Dan Rather to KRLD on 11/23/63.

3.) When Rossley stated his belief that it was Oswald in the doorway of the TSBD. (Even the most rabid of conspiracists don't believe that one anymore.)

4.) When Rossley totally contradicted himself when he propped up SS agent Glen Bennett's "four inches down from the right shoulder" statement....i.e., indicating that JFK was actually shot from the REAR in the upper back, even though Rossley had said earlier in the debate that Kennedy's back wound was a wound of EXIT.

5.) During the debate, Rossley magically turned every verified EXIT wound into an ENTRY wound, and he magically turned every verified ENTRY wound into an EXIT wound for the sake of rewriting history THE ROSSLEY WAY.

And Rossley even performed this "magic" with Governor Connally's wounds too....becoming the first mega-kook in history (that I'm aware of) who has ever even hinted at the idea that John B. Connally was shot in the chest from the FRONT.

Rossley deserves praise for being inventive in his beliefs about the case, I will say that. But all of those things will just roll off the backs of the conspiracy theorists at the various forums. They already have, in fact, with not one single CTer daring to disagree with the above sample batch of insane nuttiness that was spewed forth by Tom Rossley on the radio on Sunday, April 5, 2009.

Well, like they say...birds of a feather. I guess as long as the conspiracy-happy kooks can pretend that Saint Oswald didn't fire a shot, those members of the "Anybody But Oswald" club are satisfied.

Of course, for the actual evidence (and common sense), you can always go HERE and HERE.

JFK ASSASSINATION RADIO DEBATES FEATURING JOHN McADAMS

Prominent JFK assassination researcher John McAdams, who passed away in 2021, made several radio appearances to debate the facts surrounding the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

In the debates that can be heard via the streaming audio files presented below, Professor McAdams does a very admirable job of voicing his opinions concerning JFK's assassination, as he effectively defends and supports the conclusions reached by the Warren Commission back in 1964 -- i.e., Lee Harvey Oswald, acting alone, murdered President Kennedy in Dallas' Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963.

The first radio debate below is a confrontation between Dr. McAdams and conspiracy theorist James DiEugenio, which was hosted and moderated by Len Osanic of Black Op Radio over the course of two nights in late September and early October of 2009. The total running time of the two-part debate is 3 hours and 50 minutes.

Next up is a 43-minute radio debate hosted by Mitch Henck on November 21, 2014, featuring John McAdams going head-to-head against conspiracy theorist and author Roger Stone.

The next debate found on this webpage occurred on April 5, 2009, pitting McAdams against conspiracy theorist Tom Rossley. That debate was hosted by Anton Batey of WHPR-Radio (Highland Park, Michigan). The running time is 3 hours and 23 minutes.

The last program below consists of a second JFK assassination radio debate between McAdams and Rossley, on March 13, 2010. The length of that program is 1 hour, 29 minutes.

Some of my own personal thoughts about these Kennedy assassination debates can be found HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.

JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 481)

TOM ROSSLEY SAID:

I was surprised to hear [John] McAdams admit that he doesn't have the 26 volumes though!!

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Why would John (or anyone) need the PHYSICAL VOLUMES themselves, Tom? I don't own a set of the physical volumes either.

The 27 WC volumes (including the 888-page Warren Report itself) are available for free all over the Internet...and (for a very small price) are also available on CD-ROM. (I got my CD copy last year from Rich DellaRosa's website; a good deal too.)

So possessing the physical volumes themselves is totally unnecessary, and you (Tom) must surely know it's unnecessary in today's "Internet" age.

And that's something that I was trying to get Vincent Bugliosi to fully understand when Vince was doing his many radio interviews when promoting his JFK book in 2007.

Through his secretary, I think I wrote a couple of e-mails to her on this very subject, attempting to get word to Vince to stop embarrassing himself (slightly) when he continued to seemingly insist that the ONLY possible way to read all of the information in the 26 Warren Commission volumes is by possessing the physical volumes themselves....which is just a ridiculous claim in this computer age we live in.

Unfortunately, I was never able to get Vince to stop making that incorrect claim about the WC volumes. Just as I was also unsuccessful in getting Vince to stop making the VERY wrong statement that he made in 2007 when he claimed that "Reclaiming History" was the "only book" ever published to include pictures of Zapruder frames 312 and 313. I, alone, have five JFK books that have those frames printed in them.

But that just goes to show that even a master of a subject can make an occasional innocuous error every now and then.

Perhaps Mr. Bugliosi should debate Thomas Rossley sometime. That would be a howl....with Rossley calling VB a liar for two or three straight hours....and with Vince countering with gobs of evidence favoring the guilt of the man whom Rossley thinks was completely innocent of killing anybody on November 22, 1963.

About the only points Rossley could score with Vince would be to inform him of the couple of minor verbal gaffes that Vince made on radio and TV in 2007 (the ones I discussed above). Other than that [and a few other small errors that do crop up in "Reclaiming History"], ol' Tom would be toasted by the physical evidence of the guilt of Lee Harvey Oswald--for two or three straight hours (or until it got too embarrassing for ol' Tom R. to continue the debate).

DVP vs. DiEUGENIO
(PART 118)

GIL JESUS SAID:

FROM THE CTKA WEBSITE---

“COMING SOON!!

"Who is Anton Batey?"

CTKA takes a close look at a most curious radio host who is a JFK denier, Chomskyite, and yet happens to be in league with John McAdams and David Von Pein.

Yep, its all true.”

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Yeah, I've been watching the CTKA site for the last couple of weeks to see what type of nonsense Jim DiEugenio & Company are going to dish out regarding Mr. Batey. I have no doubt that most of it will be pure fantasy and CT spin.

BTW, what in the world is a "JFK denier"?

If DiEugenio is implying that Batey is a "JFK Conspiracy Denier" (which Batey is not, AFAIK), then how would that stance make it seem odd that he was also "in league" with myself and Professor McAdams?

Anyway, I'm sure that Mr. Batey will get a good laugh out of the CTKA article about him, just like I am still enjoying the residual laughs whenever I revisit DiEugenio's 2-part essay about me.

I'm guessing that Jim DiEugenio probably thinks that Anton Batey, John McAdams, and myself are long-time friends and buddies. And Jimbo likely also thinks that the three of us get together on a regular basis to "plot" against the conspiracy theorists of the world.

That is the same mindset that DiEugenio possesses with respect to any connection that I have to LNers like McAdams, Dave Reitzes, and Francois Carlier too. And nothing could be further from the truth. But I'll bet that DiEugenio would be more than willing to call me a liar if I told him that my "connection" to Mr. Anton Batey is virtually non-existent.

I cannot speak for Professor McAdams and his contact with Mr. Batey, of course, but as far as myself personally, I have shared a very few e-mails with Mr. Batey (the last of which had nothing to do with the JFK assassination at all), and in 2009 I talked with him a few times at the IMDB JFK forum.

And our IMDB conversations were not very cordial ones either, I might add, as Anton was rather annoyed at me because I wouldn't debate some unknown conspiracist on his radio show (with the CTer turning out to be Tom Rossley).

But as far as being buddy-buddy and in constant contact with Mr. Batey -- no way. It hasn't happened. But I would wager that Mr. DiEugenio thinks otherwise. Jim D. sees plots and devious conspiracies everywhere he looks, of course. And apparently he's now decided to focus his high-powered microscope on Anton Batey, for some reason.

Mr. Batey, btw, did a nice job moderating this 2009 debate and this 2010 debate and these 2010 and 2011 debates about the JFK assassination. He stayed squarely on the fence in all of those programs, and just let the opponents fight their battles. In fact, when listening to any of those debates, it's very difficult to determine whether Batey believes in a conspiracy in the JFK case or not. He was THAT neutral in his moderation of those debates.

TOM ROSSLEY SAID:

You worthless piece of s**t. Anton told you from the beginning [that] he was a Warren Commission Supporter.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

The above post from Kook Rossley prompted me to dig into my JFK archives to see if perhaps Rossley was right about something (for a change).

And, amazingly enough, he was correct. (Miracles must be possible after all.)

Anton Batey did, indeed, make the following statement in late March of 2009 on the JFK forum at the Internet Movie Database website (IMDB):

"I frequently host a local radio station in Detroit, and was wondering if there are any lone gunman theorist[s] who would be interested in a radio phone debate against a conspiracy theorist. I will be the host of the show, and will be objective (although I personally believe the killing was done by Oswald...alone)." -- Anton Batey; March 2009

I have no idea, however, if Anton's current (2011) core beliefs regarding the assassination are the same as the ones indicated via the 2009 quote shown above, although they very well may be the same.

I think I can be confident enough in saying, however, that nothing Tom Rossley said in any of his debates against either John McAdams or John Corbett could have possibly swayed Mr. Batey into believing that a conspiracy existed in Dallas in November 1963.

This type of thing (i.e., confirming an individual's quote from years ago) is one big reason I like to save most of my Internet posts. It provides a nice database from which to search older posts and discussions that, frankly, I just cannot remember off the top of my head.

My memory is getting worse. And that makes me sad. But what is even sadder and more heartbreaking is having to say "you were correct" to a mega-kook like Thomas Rossley.

But, oh well, sometimes life's tasks aren't pleasant ones.

ANTHONY MARSH SAID:

I like the way you try to deny at first that you have any connection with Batey and McAdams and then you just blurt out that you have shared several e-mails with him and talked to him. Giving credence to the claim that you three are members of a cabal.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

You're hilarious, Marsh.

A "cabal"?? LOL.

Combining all manners of communication (e-mail, IMDB forum posts, and YouTube messages), I have spoken with Anton Batey perhaps four or five times--total. And I've never once spoken to him (or John McAdams or Dave Reitzes) in person.

But I'll bet Jim DiEugenio won't hesitate for a minute in putting a nice big ol' inaccurate spin on this matter in his CTKA article on Batey, as he will probably be insinuating that Batey and myself are like blood brothers who conspire behind closed doors 24/7 against the evil CTers of Planet Earth.

And why are you deliberately misstating what I said about the e-mails, Tony? I never said "several e-mails". Just the opposite in fact. Here's what I said:

"I have shared a very few e-mails with Mr. Batey (the last of which had nothing to do with the JFK assassination at all)..." -- DVP

JAMES DiEUGENIO SAID:

Noam Chomsky and his Acolyte Exposed....

This is a really neat article by a new writer named Brian Hunt. I helped him fill it in with some detail work. But it's his baby:

http://www.ctka.net/2011/batey_article.html

I don't know if you knew this awful stuff about Chomsky and the Khmer Rouge or Chomsky and Faurisson, or how Chomsky has deceived everyone about what he really thought about the JFK case. But it's all here.

Anyway, Anton Batey somehow takes him seriously. And therefore does all he can with Chomsky's propaganda to distort who JFK was.

Brian helps put him in his place. Hopefully this is a first dig at the Left Gatekeepers, like Norman Solomon, Amy Goodman and Chomsky's biggest promoter, David Barsamian.

In part two, Brian goes into the assassination itself and shows us Batey's connections to Von Pein and McAdams.

This is the stuff we should be talking about instead of Nelson and Hersh.

And then hooks up with the likes of John McAdams and Dave Von Pein to give us the second helping on the JFK murder itself.

15 DAYS LATER, JAMES DiEUGENIO SAID:

This is part 2 of the Brian Hunt essay that I helped on:

http://www.ctka.net/2011/batey_article_part2.html

Note how fast Batey drops the structuralist approach he used in the first part to denigrate JFK. Why? Because if he uses that method with the Commission, he rips open people like Dulles, McCloy, Ford and Hoover. They really did establish the power structure of the USA in the 20th century. And it is not a pretty site [sic]: Red Scare I, Red Scare II (via Hoover), Incorporation of Gehlen (McLoy [sic] and Dulles) CIA coups in Iran and Guatemala (Dulles), CIA assassinations (Dulles), the saving of Klaus Barbie (McCloy), the Japanese internment (McCloy), the illegal CIA activity cover up (Ford).

Quite a list to ignore, right? But when you have an agenda, you can do it.

This guy is even worse than Chomsky. Read it and you will understand.

JOHN McADAMS SAID:

Looks like Jim's article is out.

What a bunch of huffing and puffing over nothing.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Yeah, I noticed it last night. I nearly fell asleep. A totally pointless, meaningless article.

Of course, I didn't come close to reading the whole thing. (I can't imagine anyone doing that.)

And that's only "Part 1".

Good Lord.

DAVID VON PEIN LATER SAID:

Jim DiEugenio, as per his norm, read aloud on Black Op Radio pretty much the whole Part 1 of the Anton Batey article this week (2/17/11). I'd be surprised if Len Osanic wasn't sleeping soundly throughout most of this one-hour segment.

The most hilarious part of the whole February 17th program isn't DiEugenio's particular disagreements with Noam Chomsky or Anton Batey, but it's the way DiEugenio mispronounces Batey's last name throughout the entire radio segment.

I know that the mispronouncing of someone's name is a totally unimportant matter in the grand scheme of things, but in DiEugenio's case, it almost seems to be a chronic disease of some kind. And not just with Anton's name. Jim mangles a lot of other names on a regular basis too, including my own and Vincent Bugliosi's. And I have a feeling that Jim continually distorts Bugliosi's name just out of sheer spite. Because I know darn well he knows Vincent's "G" is silent.

BTW, Anton Batey's last name is pronounced BAY-tee. And for verification of that fact, all one needs to do is listen to the first 10 seconds of the 4/5/09 and 3/13/10 debates that Mr. Batey moderated, and you'll hear Batey himself say his own name aloud on the air. But perhaps DiEugenio doesn't think Anton knows how to pronounce his own name.

And I know that DiEugenio listened to the April '09 debate between John McAdams and Tom Rossley, because he has commented on how lousy the debate and the debate format were during multiple episodes of Black Op Radio since that debate occurred in 2009.

As for the bulk of the “Who is Anton Batey?” article, it was truly a "Who Cares?" type of article (and Black Op show) as far as I am concerned. Others are free to disagree, of course.

But I think we all already knew that Mr. DiEugenio was very much "anti-Chomsky", and he certainly is very much "anti-LNer" when it comes to the topic of John Kennedy's assassination (regardless of who the Lone Assassin believer happens to be -- whether it is myself or John McAdams or Vince Bugliosi or Anton Batey).

So, in my personal view, Part 1 of that article on Batey is a whole lot of to-do about nothing. There are always going to be disagreements about President Kennedy's policies and intentions regarding certain matters (such as Vietnam, the Bay of Pigs, and the Cuban Missile Crisis, et al).

It seems to be a perpetual debate that never really leads anywhere -- such as the question of "Would Kennedy have pulled entirely out of Vietnam or not?" had he not been killed in Dallas?

The Batey article, for the most part, seems to merely be a smear piece against Noam Chomsky. And since Batey supports many of Chomsky's views, Batey gets smeared in the process.

Part 2 of the article should be a screamer too....as I look forward to seeing what "connections" Brian Hunt and James DiEugenio think I personally have to Mr. Anton Batey.

JAMES DiEUGENIO SAID:

Another yawner from Mr. Irrelevant.

In Part 2 we will see why Davey Boy is up in arms about the exposure of Anton Batey. (BTW, he used to complain that I mispronounced his name also. Which shows where his head is at.)

BTW, I didn't read a large part of it. Most of it I did not read at all. There is so much Batey screws up, or leaves out, it's incredible. Sort of like DVP on the assassination.

DVP sums up with his usual "Who cares".

Right, who cares if:

1. Chomsky tried to cover up the Pol Pot genocide in Cambodia, one of the worst of modern times.

2. If Chomsky tried to conceal his ties to a Holocaust denier in France.

3. In direct opposition to what he said when Stone's film came out, Chomsky actually thought of leading an effort to reopen the JFK case in 1969, because he was convinced it was a conspiracy!

This is not important in figuring out who Chomsky is? OK, Mr. Orwell.

And Batey does not tell you any of this while quoting from his master as if it is the Gospel truth. There's openness and honesty for you.

Like I said, we will see why DVP does not like the article in Part 2. Anyway, as usual, Davey Boy's reaction is a direct inverse barometer to how important an article is.

Recall, Davey used to say that BOR [Black Op Radio] had all of two listeners. When in fact Len now has thousands of listeners all over the world. And his traffic has gone up 38% in the last month. That is how much DVP's comments on BOR are worth.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

I couldn't care less what Noam Chomsky says. I've never read anything written by him--ever--BTW. I couldn't have even told you last week whether or not he was an "LNer" or a "CTer" when it came to his opinions about the JFK murder. I just don't care one way or the other.

As for Anton Batey -- his opinions are his own, and he has every right to them, and he has every right to speak them freely (on YouTube, or wherever). As does Chomsky, of course.

BTW #2 -- I have never once talked about any of the details concerning the JFK assassination with Anton Batey. Never once.

Now, call me a liar, DiEugenio. I dare ya.

JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 492)

TOM ROSSLEY SAID [QUOTING FROM THE TESTIMONY OF DR. TOM SHIRES]:

Mr. SPECTER. Focusing on the time sequence---what did Governor Connally say as to the timing, number one, the time he was hit, and number two, the time he had heard a sound, and number three, the time he turned-those three factors? In what sequence did he relate them?

Dr. SHIRES. As he recalled it, he heard a shot, he turned to the right and felt himself receiving a shot--in that order--in a matter of a few seconds.

Mr. SPECTER. Where did he feel himself receive a shot?

Dr. SHIRES. In the right chest.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Tom Rossley's insane theory about Governor Connally's chest wound being one of ENTRY instead of exit is even more ludicrous after reading Dr. Shires' testimony cited by Rossley above -- because it's not really even SHIRES that's making the statement (i.e., Shires is speaking for CONNALLY there).

And, as we all know, John Connally himself never once even HINTED at the idea that he was shot from the FRONT.

Also:

Later in Dr. Shires' testimony [at 6 H 109-110], he makes the following comments that Rossley conveniently ignores, with Shires talking about how Connally's doctors pretty much ALL were of the opinion that Connally had been shot by just ONE BULLET:

DR. GEORGE THOMAS SHIRES -- "We all thought, me included, that this was probably one missile, one bullet."

ARLEN SPECTER -- "When you say 'we all thought', whom do you mean by that?"

DR. SHIRES -- "Dr. Shaw, Dr. Gregory--as we were reconstructing the events in the operating room in an attempt to plot out trajectory as best we could, this appeared to be our opinion. .... Everyone was under the impression this was one missile--through and through the chest, through and through the arm and the thigh."

David Von Pein

JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 486)

TOM ROSSLEY SAID:

David doesn't know that John Connally's own doctor made that ["in the chest"] statement.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

As I said before, you (Rossley) can't even use your common sense (if you've got any left after wading through conspiracy myth after conspiracy myth for over 40 years now) to figure out the really, really easy-to-figure-out stuff regarding the evidence surrounding the events of November 22nd, 1963.

If you ever came up against something really difficult, you'd probably implode.

TOM ROSSLEY SAID:

David doesn't know that that statement is in the 26 volumes.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

So what?

What did Robert Shaw say about JBC's wounds on live TV on 11/22/63?

Did Shaw say that Connally's chest wound was a wound of ENTRY?

Answer: No, of course not. Nor did Shaw EVER claim in his WC testimony that Connally's chest wound was a wound of entry.

Rossley, as always, is making shit up.

Whatever "in the chest" comment you're talking about that may be in "the 26 volumes" is not relevant to proving where the ENTRY vs. EXIT wounds were located on Governor Connally's body. Because it couldn't be more obvious where the specific entry and exit holes in JBC were located by just glancing briefly at Dr. Shaw's WC testimony:

Mr. SPECTER - When did you first have an opportunity then to examine Governor Connally's wound on the posterior aspect of his chest?

Dr. SHAW - After the Governor had been anesthetized. As soon as he was asleep so we could manipulate him--before that time it was necessary for an endotracheal tube to be in place so his respirations could be controlled before we felt we could roll him over and accurately examine the wound entrance. We knew this was the wound exit.

Mr. SPECTER - This [indicating an area below the right nipple on the body]?

Dr. SHAW - Yes.

Mr. DULLES - How did you know it was a wound exit.

Dr. SHAW - By the fact of its size, the ragged edges of the wound. This wound was covered by a dressing which could not be removed until the Governor was anesthetized.

Mr. SPECTER - Indicating this wound, the wound on the Governor's chest?

Dr. SHAW - Yes; the front part.

Mr. SPECTER - Will you describe in as much detail as you can the wound on the posterior side of the Governor's chest?

Dr. SHAW - This was a small wound approximately a centimeter and a half in its greatest diameter. It was roughly elliptical. It was just medial to the axilliary fold or the crease of the armpit, but we could tell that this wound, the depth of the wound, had not penetrated the shoulder blade.

Mr. SPECTER - What were the characteristics, if any, which indicated to you that it was a wound of entrance then?

Dr. SHAW - Its small size, and the rather clean cut edges of the wound as compared to the usual more ragged wound of exit.

JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 485)

CHUCK SCHUYLER SAID:

Have CTers put up anything substantive in the last several decades?

When one listens to the McAdams/Rossley [4/5/2009] radio debate, it's obvious that Rossley, like most CTers, has nothing but tired old worn-out "factoids"...to put up against cold hard facts.

Some of what Rossley trotted out in the debate...is stuff that was debunked DECADES ago. Trivial baloney, easily swatted down.

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Oh, I don't know about that -- Rossley has placed on the table some "new" stuff (hilarious, but somewhat "new")....such as the stuff I talk about here.

For example:

Rossley (in true-blue form of getting everything backwards) thinks that Connally's chest wound was a wound of ENTRY, and he thinks (as all retarded kooks do) that JFK's throat wound was a wound of ENTRY as well.

And Tom thinks that both of those wounds of "entry" resulted in the bullets exiting out the two victims' upper backs.

So, we're dealing with a case of a mega-kook (that's Rossley) taking a look at the evidence and then turning the known facts completely around to satisfy the kook's pro-conspiracy needs, such as when Rossley takes BOTH of the verified EXIT wounds on the bodies of JFK and John Connally and magically turns each of them into (voila!) ENTRY wounds.

And then Rossley conveniently (and magically) takes BOTH victims' verified ENTRY wounds in their upper backs and turns each of these wounds into (voila!) EXIT wounds.

That's called "rewriting history" to fit a kook's requirements. And retards like Thomas Rossley perform that task better than anyone else on the planet.

And the crap that Rossley talked about during the radio debate regarding Dan Rather supposedly having seen Oswald at the Carousel Club on November 21st is a real howl too.

I failed to make the following observation in my above-linked critique of the debate (which was a debate that Mr. McAdams won with ease...seeing as how John has all the evidence to support his position and Rossley has none to support his)....

How could Dan Rather (or anyone!) have POSSIBLY seen Lee Oswald at Jack Ruby's Carousel nightclub on Thursday night, November 21st, 1963, when we know exactly where Oswald was located during that whole night? Oswald was at the Paine house in Irving that night.

Does Rossley think that Oswald borrowed Ruth Paine's station wagon and took a trip down to Ruby's club on Thursday night without anyone at the Paine house noticing?

BTW, as a side note -- I'm wondering when and where Thomas Rossley met Jim Garrison?

JFK ASSASSINATION ARGUMENTS
(PART 618)

TOM ROSSLEY SAID:

I wonder WHY Dale Myers never mentioned that Tippit had a 2-year affair with Johnnie Maxie Witherspoon?

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

You haven't even read Dale Myers' book, "With Malice". Because if you had read it, the stupid comment you just made wouldn't have escaped your keyboard.

Myers deals with Tippit's two-year fling with the waitress (on pages 35 and 36 of "With Malice").

But even if Myers never mentioned it -- Who cares? It was Lee Oswald who killed Tippit. And the reason and motive for the killing couldn't be more obvious. And somebody named Witherspoon had nothing to do with it.

Naturally, though, a useless and chaff-happy mega-kook named Rossley thinks otherwise. What a surprise.

TOM ROSSLEY SAID:

I wonder WHY Dale Myers never mentioned that J D Tippit was living AWAY from his wife & kids?

Did Myers "withhold" Information?

OR,

Was Myers just a lousy student of the subject?

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Did you double-up on your "retarded" pills today, Tommy? Why are you making up shit out of thin air?

J.D. Tippit slept in his own house, with his own wife (Marie), the night before the JFK assassination (page 37 of "With Malice").

Reprise ---

The conspiracy-seeking goofballs on these Internet boards ARE, indeed, the very LAST people in this world who should be talking about the JFK and J.D. Tippit murder cases.

Those CTers would be much better suited for a Usenet board entitled "Facts Out Of Whole Cloth". Because that's where most conspiracy theorists around here acquire the majority of their "facts".
